European Manufacturer Since 1975
From a Polish agricultural cooperative to a European specialist in industrial handling equipment — half a century of manufacturing expertise.
Our History
1975: An agricultural cooperative in Poland
The story of Agromech begins in November 1975, in the village of Łubianka, in the heart of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region of Poland. At that time, the Spółdzielnia Kółek Rolniczych — the Agricultural Circles Cooperative — was founded to serve the needs of local farmers.
The cooperative provided mechanical farming services: ploughing, sowing, harvesting and transport for farms that did not own their own equipment. It also ran a repair workshop for agricultural machinery, a fuel station and a vehicle fleet. In 1977, a new administrative building was constructed — the cooperative was growing and investing.
These cooperatives — known in Polish as Spółdzielnie Kółek Rolniczych (SKR) — were the backbone of rural mechanisation in Poland. They served entire communities of farmers who could not afford their own machinery.

1978: The first tyres, the first trolleys
On 21 July 1978, the first tyre rolled off the production line in Łubianka. It was an event — local and national press, radio and television covered the launch of this new production.
The success was immediate: by 12 October 1978, the hundredth tyre had been produced. The team posed proudly with this symbolic tyre. By the end of the year, 528 tyres had left the factory.
In parallel, the production of transport trolleys began. The first rolling platforms were designed for local needs — warehouses, farms, workshops. The dual expertise in metal and rubber that defines Agromech’s strength today was born.
1989: When everything changed
Poland’s political and economic transformation in 1989 brought the end of the era for agricultural cooperatives. The shift to a free market was swift — over 90% of SKRs across Poland closed their doors.
Agromech was one of the few that survived. Instead of shutting down, the cooperative channelled its metalworking expertise into a completely new direction: the manufacture of industrial handling equipment. The welders who once repaired ploughs now built platform trolleys. The skills remained — only the product changed.
This transformation — from a rural services cooperative to an industrial manufacturer — laid the foundations for the Agromech we know today.

What We Manufacture Today
100% In-House Production — From Raw Steel to Finished Product
Today, Agromech manufactures platform trolleys, hand trucks, gas bottle trolleys, work platforms and industrial wheels — all designed and produced entirely at our factory in Łubianka by our 32-person team.
What makes us different from most European suppliers is that we manufacture everything ourselves. Our factory handles the complete production cycle: steel cutting and welding, powder coating, tyre vulcanisation, inner tube production, rim pressing and final assembly. We do not outsource — every component that leaves our factory is made by our team.

💡 Why does this matter? — Full in-house production means full quality control. It also means we supply spare parts for every product we have ever made. A tyre, an inner tube, a rim, a handle — if it carries the Agromech name, we can deliver it. No third-party suppliers, no discontinued components.
The Person Behind Agromech

My name is Jarosław Ordon and I have been leading Agromech since 2019. I am an agricultural engineer by training, with additional qualifications in workplace safety and finance. Outside of Agromech, I manage a cereal farm — so my connection to the agricultural world that gave birth to this company is not a coincidence. It is part of who I am.
When I took over as President, I set myself a clear goal: to bring Agromech’s products to customers across Europe. We launched our German market presence with agromech.de in 2020. In 2021, we exhibited at the Modernlog international logistics trade fair in Poznań. In 2026, we entered France with agromech.fr, and now we are opening our doors to the wider European market through agromech-eu.com.
Our strength is that we control the entire production chain — from raw steel to the finished trolley, wheels included. Very few manufacturers in Europe can say the same. Every product that leaves our factory carries our name, and that is a responsibility I take seriously.
My ambition for the years ahead: to continue growing our European presence while staying true to what makes us different — integrated production, 50 years of expertise, and a personal commitment to every order.

Rooted in Our Community
Agromech is deeply anchored in the local community of Łubianka. As one of the largest industrial employers in the commune, we believe a manufacturing company has a role to play beyond its factory walls.
We designed and built a heart-shaped bottle cap collector for a nearby school — a popular charity initiative in Poland where collected caps are recycled to fund equipment for children with disabilities. We also installed a cemetery candle reuse stand, an ecological initiative that reduces waste while serving the local community.
Small gestures — but they reflect a simple belief: an industrial company should give back to the community that supports it.
